Bio Notes: John Vallance Stevenson was admitted LRIBA in 1956. He appears to have formed a partnership with David Ferguson prior to 1970, perhaps as early as 1962 (see 'Buildings of Scotland Ayr violume). Fergsuon had been admitted LRIBA in 1956. Alexander Murdoch Buchanan was taken into partnership sometime before 1970. By 1980 the practice title had become Stevenson, Ferguson & Buchanan.
