Bio Notes: James Thomson was born on 22 April 1800 and was articled to John Buonarotti Papworth in London from 1814 to 1821. He remained as assistant and later practised independently. He died on 16 May 1883 and is buried at Finchley. His son John James Thomson also became an architect.
