The staircase is of wainscot; hall and vestibule floors laid with mosaic. As is to be expected in an artist's house, the studio is the principal feature in this plan. The room is one of the largest that has been built in London, having a clear floor space of 50 feet by 30 feet. The builders were Messrs. S. Dowsing and Son, of Notting Hill.
