Notes: The new bridge which has been erected across the Dee at Aberdeen, on the line of Market-street, was formally opened on Saturday afternoon. It is of granite and consists of five arches. Mr. Blyth, of the firm of Blyth and Cunningham, Edinburgh, was the architect and Mr John Fyffe, of Kembay, the contractor; the cost has exceeded 20,000 [Building News 15 July 1881 Page 72]
