Situate in Bothwell street, the building, which is in the Classic style, is ornamented in the front with figures of Knox and Tyndal over the doorway, and sculptured heads of Wycliffe, Luther, Zwingle, Melanothon, Calvin, Wishart, and Cranmer over the windows of the first floor. The large hall is 85 feet long by 43 feet wide, and the accommodation, including the platform and gallery, is calculated at close on 1,000. The whole of the windows in the north of the hall are filled with stained glass.
