Bio Notes: James Alexander Buist studied for the diploma in architecture at Edinburgh College of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1961. He remained in Edinburgh after qualification until the early 1970s. By 1979 he had a post with Tayside Regional Council in Dundee. He remained with the authority until at least 1994.
