Bio Notes: Reginald Chatterton was born on 29 January 1925. He studied at Leeds College of Art and was awarded a diploma with distinction. He worked as an assistant to Lunn & Lunn from 1949 until 1952 and to J G L Poulson from 1952 to 1953. He became Chief Architect to Littlewoods in 1953, and was still in that post when he was elected FRIBA on 5 February 1964, his proposers being John Clifford Barker, Roger Booth and Donald Hanks McMorran.

Chatterton would appear to have moved to the Liverpool office of Woolworths in 1968.
