Basic Biographical Details Name: | Peter Herbert Marryat Stevens | Designation: | | Born: | 21 October 1923 | Died: | January 1994 | Bio Notes: | Peter Herbert Marryat Stevens was born at Balgholm Terrace, Edinburgh on 21 October 1923, the son of Gerald Victor Marryat Stevens and his wife Maude Mary Stenner, who had married in London in 1908. He studied at the School of Architecture, Edinburgh College of Art. He graduated in 1951 and was elected ARIBA the same year. He graduated with a diploma in Town Planning, also in Edinburgh. By 1955 he had moved to work in the County Planning Department in Middlesex. He subsequently went to work in the Town & Country Development Planning Office, Government Headquarters in Barbados. He moved to the practice of Robertson Ward before 1970. By 1979 he had moved back to a job in London. In 1987 he is listed as Director of Technical Services, UK, International Hotels Corporation, Dorland House, 14-16 Regent Street London.
