| Bio Notes: | John Fraser was the son of Alexander Fraser of Kirkcaldy and his wife Isabella Bonellie, and brother of Alexander Fraser junior. He was taken into partnership in the family firm on 28 March 1885, the practice title changing from Alexander Fraser & Son to Alexander Fraser & Sons. By that time Alexander Fraser senior had retired. A further son, William, also became a partner. Alexander Fraser senior died on 4 April 1903 in his eighty-first year. His business was continued by his sons William and Alexander, but no further details are yet known of John. |
