Bio Notes: George Marr began practice as an architect and civil engineer at Campbell of Udny from 1855, concentrating almost exclusively on school and farm work. The practice moved to Ellon in the mid-1860s and became G & G Marr in 1872. The relationship of the second G Marr to the original George Marr is not yet known. The practice was merged with that of George Gordon Jenkins in the summer of 1878.
