Notes: A merchants' house is being erected at Royal Exchange-place, Dundee, from the designs of Mr J. Murray Robertson, architect, of that town. The contracts, which amount to about £1,800, have been let as follows:—Masonry, Mr Alexander Duncan; joineiy, Messrs W and K Brownlee; plumbing, Mr David Brown; slating. Mr. Stonier; plastering, Mr. Ovenstone glazing, Messrs Lindsay and Scott; and iron columns and girders, Mr David Keay, Hillbank Foundry.[Building News 26 August 1881 p263]
