City or county: Glasgow
Country: Scotland

Notes: It is assumed that the picture house at Battlefield referred to in E A Sutherland's FRIBA nomination papers is this one, and therefore that he made alterations at the time of its change of name to 'Tonic'. However Sutherland may have worked on a different cinema.

Plans are in hand to construct a new cinema at Battlefield Road Langside, the architects being Messrs Gardner and Thomson 164 Bath-street, Glasgow. [Builder 10 July 1936, p77]
