John Miller was elected a student member of the RIBA in 1964 at which time he was living in Beith, Ayrshire. He is probably the same person as the John Miller who studied for the degree of BArch at the University of Strathclyde and was elected ARIBA in 1969. This John Miller had a post with Godstone Rural District Council, Oxted, Surrey in 1970. By 1979 he had returned to Scotland and was living in Kilmacolm. By the 1990s if not before he had the post of Chief Architect, Cumbernauld & Kilsyth District Council, Cumbernauld.
