Ronald Douglas Cameron studied architecture at Edinburgh College of Art followed by a diploma in town planning there. He was elected ARIBA in 1963and ARIAS the following year. He formed a partnership with John Charles Phillip Gibb in the 1960s. The practice continued until the 1980s but Gibb left after 1975 and before 1981 and by 1994 Cameron was practising as R D Cameron Associates from the address in Causewayside.
