Bio Notes :
James Piers St Aubyn was born on 6 April 1815 at Powick Vicarage, Worcestershire, and was a pupil of Thomas Fulljames in Gloucester. He practised on his own account in London and Devonport, taking his former pupil and assistant Henry John Wadling into partnership.
St Aubyn was admitted ARIBA on 27 February 1837 and FRIBA on 10 March 1856. He was Surveyor to the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple from 1851 until his retirement in 1885, when Wadling succeeded to the position. St Aubyn died in Cornwall on 7 May 1895. Francis William St Aubyn was his nephew.
