Plans for a new cinema in Main-street, Prestwick to cost £15,000 have been passed by the Prestwick Dean of Guild Court. Seating accommodation wll be provided for 1,200 persons. Dr Alexander of Elgin is connected with the syndicate promoting the scheme. Plans are by Mr Alister G MacDonald ARIBA, 13 Queen Anneâs-gate London SW1. [Builder 27 July 1934 Page 171]
Messrs Robert Pert and Sons Limited, Montrose and Dundee, have secured the contract for the erection of a new cinema in Main-street.
