Notes: In 1976 the Beacon Girls' School in Bridge of Allan and Hurst Grange Boys' School on Stirling amalgamated. The latter sold its property and moved out to Bridge of Allan. The "chief architect" of this was Stewart Duff who was Chairman of the Governors and had children at both schools. The school seems to have grown on the girls' school site.
