CHURCH NEWS. It has been long felt by the Wesleyans of Essendon that a local church was badly needed, and an expression of opinion to this effect has now assumed a definite form. The proposed church will seat 250 or 300 people, and the design is excellent, being very much like the new Bible Christian Church in Brougham street, Hotham Hill, by which the officers of the church are to a great extent copying.
