Notes: A site has been acquired in Justice Mill Lane for the erection of a roller skating rink. The new building is being erected from designs by Messrs Sutherland and George, architects, and will comprise manager’s room, ladies’ and gentlemen’s cloakrooms with lavatory accommodation attached, skate store and repairing room and two tea terraces. A feature of the establishment will be the provision of two smaller rinks which will be set aside for the exclusive use of beginners. The rink wil be capable of accommodating 400-500 skaters.
