Notes: The Banff Advertiser [8 April 1915] carried a sketch of the new Post Office on East Church Street with a description of the building and also the ancillary building to be erected to the rear.

The new Buckie Post Office was opened March 1916 though there was no ceremony, owing to the war. A sketch of the new building together with a description was given on page 6. [Banff Advertiser 16 March 1916]
