The building will be capable of holding about 800 people. There will also be a café. The theatre, which is expected to be ready about the end of October will cost £15,000. The architect is Mr R M Cameron LRIBA of Great King Street Edinburgh. [Building News 18 April 1913 p543] Opened in December 1913. Closed February 1955 to become part of Woolworth's, and was subsequently demolished. |
