Cost £20,000 It is assumed that this is the 'Infectious Diseases Hospital, Kilmarnock' referred to in Gabriel Steel's FRIBA nomination papers, and therefore that although the hospital opened in 1910, James Scott Hay - with whom Steel worked as assistant and later partner - continued to work on it for some years thereafter. |
