A cinema is to be erected in Portland-street with accommodation for (1500?) persons, four shops, car park etc. The architects are Messrs John McKissack and Son, 68 West Regent -street Glasgow. No contracts have been placed. [Builder 22 November 1935 Page 946]

Messrs James Laidlaw and Sons Limited, Glasgow, have secured the contract for a cinema and shops to be erected in Portland-street. Messrs John McKissack and Son 68 West Regent Street Glasgow
