Notes: Formerly a Diorama hall it was converted to a theatre by James Wylson in 1849. In about 1866 it was leased from the 'West Nile Street Circus Proprietors' headed by William Gilchrist, a trustee of Edmund Glover. It moved in 1885 to Wellington Street and the West Nile Street building was sold to the Glasgow City & District Railway Company to become stables for railway carters.
