Proposed New Baptist Church.—We understand that the Falkirk Baptist Church congregation have in view the building of a new church, and an excellent site for the edifice has been secured at the junction of Weir Street and Orchard Street. mentioned in another column, the plans of the proposed building were to have come before the Dean of Guild Court for consideration on Thursday, but on the application of the architect, consideration of them was meantime delayed, it being proposed to make some alteration upon them. The architect for the building is Mr G. Deas Page.
