"On Thursday the memorial stone of the Christian Institute was laid at by Falkirk Mr J. C. Bolton M.P., in presence of a large number of ladies and gentlemen. The Building, which is situated on a central site in Market Street, adjoining the new Burgh Buildings, and immediately opposite the New Town Hall, has been erected by the Falkirk Young Men’s Christian Association".
