Notes: Mactaggart & Mickel's first Edinburgh development was at East Pilton, Granton; and was developed over five years in three phases. In late 1932, the company proposed to build 500 'subsidy class' houses on 31 acres feued from Edinburgh Corporation. Phase 1 was the only phase of the 3-phase development to be built with subsidies from Edinburgh Corporation. Only two of the Mactaggart & Mickel house types were used at East Pilton.
