SCHOOLS STONEHAVEN - Plans have just been sanctioned for the erection of additions to the Episcopal Schools. These comprise large class rooms, teachers’ retiring room, cloakroom and lavatories, also new staircase. The elevation in High Street is of Gothic design and the front dressing will be of Brechin stone. All the inside finishing is to be of pitch pine. The architect is Mr J Augustus Soutar, Aberdeen.[Builder 22 May 1897 p464]
