Notes: The original scheme was by Gustavus W Hamilton of Liverpool. The church was begun in 1863, but the foundations failed. In 1864 Souttar was commissioned to build it anew and made a number of modifications to Hamilton's design. The church was carefully taken down in 1913 and rebuilt by A E Melander at Strandvagen to serve the embassies there.
