Notes: The memorial stone of the Baptist Chapel at Bellshill near Glasgow was laid on Saturday (11 December 1909). The building occupies a site at the corner of Neilson Street and Motherwell Road adjacent to the Caledonian Railway Station. [Building News 17 December 1909 p914]

The memorial stones of the new Bellshill Baptist Church were recently laid. The church is seated for 500 persons, has open timber roof and the windows will be filled with leaded glass. The walls are of red sandstone and the roofs will be slated with green slates and red tile ridging. Messrs Miller and Black, Glasgow are the architects. [Builder 25 December 1909 p699]
