Atholl Palace Hotel holds a capital raising document from 1873 which lists Andrew Heiton Esq, George Street Perth as the architect. Accompanying this document was an early artistic impression done by Heiton of the building, dated 1873. In addition, Heiton is listed as a shareholder in the company - owning 30 shares, all worthless when the company went bankrupt in 1886.
