Notes: A new United Free Church is about to be erected at Cults N B from plans prepared by Mr McMillan, a local architect. [Building News 18 January 1901 Page 89]

The design submitted is of Gothic type with Scottish features and is cruciform in plan. There will be a tower at the west and an apse behind the pulpit, where provision is made for an organ; and there will be sittings for fully 600. There will also be a hall, sessions house, ladies’ workroom and tea kitchen and the total cost will be about £4,000. ......
