On Saturday the new institute, erected by the Messrs Dunnachie, of the Glenboig Union Fireclay Works, for the benefit of the workmen, was formally opened by James Dunnachie, managing director. The institute consists of billiard-room (three tables), reading and recreation-rooms, with janitor's house. It has been erected from plans by Mr. James Davidson, architect, Coatbridge.
