Notes: The memorial-stone of the new UP church in Loughborough-road, Sinclair-town, Glasgow, was laid on Monday. The new church, which is now almost completed, is in the Gothic style, and is seated to accommodate 800 persons. It is provided with front and side galleries, and the seats in the area of the church are all arranged in circles so that the sitters face the minister. The building is situated on a commanding site, and has a spire rising to a height of 115ft. The architect is Mr. Baldie, Bath-street, Glasgow. The cost of the building is £5,000, exclusive of site.[Building News 23 September 1881 p407]

This was an extension church. Congregation dissolved in 1969.
