Bio Notes: Herbert Charles Field was elected ARIBA in 1949. By the early 1950s he was working with Glenrothes New Town Development Corporation. He moved to a post with the Essex County Architect in Chelmsford. He was still living in Chelmsford in 1970 but his home rather than his work address is given in the RIBA Directory of 1970.

He is no longer listed in the RIBA Directory of Members 1979.
