Bio Notes: Richard Silverman was born in 1940. He studied for the diploma in architecture at Brighton College of Art and Civic Design at the University of Edinburgh. He worked for the SSHA from the 1960s. He was project architect for the SSHA housing at Kinneil Park, Bo'ness in the late 1960s.

Subsequently he moved to Bristol and became a partner in the Alex French Partnership. From 1986 to 1999 he was Head of the Welsh School of Architecture.
