Bio Notes: John Henry Townsend Woodd was born about 1857, graduating MA from King's College, Cambridge about 1878; thereafter articled to Joseph Clarke 1879-1881 transferring to Ewan Christian's office in 1881. He formed a partnership with Wilfred Ainslie in 1887.

He was admitted FRIBA on 2 March 1903 with William Douglas Caroe as proposer, and seconded by C J Blomfield and H Read.

The practice does not appear to have recommenced following World War I.
