Bio Notes: Collen Williamson was born in Dyke, Morayshire in 1727. He was a mson by trade. He worked in Morayshire in a simple Scottish Georgian style from the 1760s until 1792 when he emingrated to North America. He was employed as a master mason on the White House in Washington under the supervision of James Hoban. He remained working on the White House until 1795 when he was replaced by the English James Blagden.

Williamson died in America in 1802.
