Bio Notes: Adam Ogilvie Turnbull was an architect builder in Edinburgh. He was responsible for buildings in the Saxe-Coburg Place area and he lived in Dean Bank House himself which he may have also designed and built. He was a subscriber to the Watt memorial in 1824. He also acted as agent in letting shops at 2 St Andrew Square in 1828. This had been his office from about 1825.

After Turnbull's death in about 1834, George Earl of Dalhousie issued a summons of multiplepoinding against his creditors.
