Bio Notes: Claud Cleghorn was an Edinburgh builder. He was admitted a burgess of Edinburgh in April 1800. He would appear to have been responsible for the drawings for Ardgowan House (not executed). They represent a competent late Georgian design.

Cleghorn appears briefly in the Edinburgh Post Office directory of 1800-01 as a wright.
