| Bio Notes: | James Raymond Burkett Palmer was born on 7 June 1928. He studied for the degree of BArch in Liverpool and was also an Associate of the Town Planning Institute. He was also MCD. He was elected ARIBA in 1955. In about 1960 he had a post with Cumbernauld New Town Development Corporation. He worked in Falkirk from the mid-1960s until at least 19790. By 1979 he had a post with the Scottish Development Department in Edinburgh where he remained until at least 1984. He was a member of the RIAS although few details of his career are as yet known. He died on 12 February 2014. |
