Bio Notes: David Merton Butler studied for the diploma in architecture at Dundee College of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1951. He moved to London after qualification and later to Kendal where he had a post in the Architects Department of Westmorland County Council. This later became Cumbria Council Architects Department and he was still working in here in 1984. He is not listed in the 1994 directory.
