Bio Notes: Ian Bracewell Smith studied for the diploma in architecture at Edinburgh College of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1968. By the late 1970s he had moved to a post with the Nauru Local Government Council, Nauru, Central Pacific. He had returned to Scotland by 1984 and had the post of Chief Architect of the Department of Housing and Technical Services, Moray District Council. He was still in this post in 1994.
