Bio Notes: Andrew Dunsire (described when he was a student as Andrew Dunsire junior) was born on 27 January 1936 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, and educated there. He studied at Edinburgh College of Art and graduated DA(Edin) in 1960. As a student he worked for the South East Regional Hospital Board.

After graduation and recently married, he went off to Nigeria where he worked for about five years. During that time he was elected ARIBA in 1962. On his return to Edinburgh he rejoined the South East Regional Hospital Board. He moved to the office of Robert Mathew Johnston Marshall.

In 1969 the family moved to York and then Dunsire had a further spell in Nigeria, accompanied by his wife and two young children. On his return to UK in 1972 he specialised in site work and was involved in a number of large award winning multi-million pound shopping centres in various English cities.

He retired in 1994 and lives quietly with his wife in the Scottish Borders.
