Bio Notes: John George Sutherland studied at the School of Architecture in Aberdeen and was elected ARIBA in 1964. The following year he emigrated to Canada where he had a post with the City Architect in the City Property Department in Toronto where he remained until at least 1970. He returned to Scotland and by the early 1970s he was living and presumably working in East Kilbride. However by 1979 he had a post with the Department ogf Architecture and Related Services, Strathclyde Regional Council in the Paisley office. He was still with this department in 1984. By 1994 he had moved to the Glasgow office.
