Bio Notes: Robert Macdonald Miller Nisbet was born in Aberdeen on 27 January 1938, the son of Robert Miller Nisbet, oil company representative, and his wife Helen Macdonald Fraser. He studied at the School of Architecture in Aberdeen and was elected ARIBA and ARIAS in 1964. He remained in Aberdeen until at least the 1970s. In 1979 he was working for the Scottish Health Service Building Division in Inverness but by 1984 he had moved to the Aberdeen office. He was still working in Aberdeen for the Health Service in 1994 (by this time the office had moved premises).
