Bio Notes: James Roy Rae studied at the School of Architecture in Aberdeen and was elected ARIBA in 1953 and ARIAS in 1956. He had moved to Glasgow by 1955.

By about 1960 he had a post with Baron Bercott & Associates. He was still with the practice in 1979. However between that date and 1984 he had moved to the Middle East and was working for Abbey & Hanson Rowe/Mohammed Salahuddin in Bahrain. He is no longer listed in the 1994 directory.
