Bio Notes: Maurice Russell studied at the School of Architecture in Aberdeen and was elected ARIBA in 1948. In the mid 1950s he was working for H H Reid in Colombo, Ceylon. He remained with this practice until returning to Scotland to work in the practice of Boswell Mitchell & Johnston by 1960. By 1965 he had moved to Manchester to the Architects Department of John Laing Construction. By 1970 he had moved to Cheshire where he had post with John Laing Design Associates where he remained until 1979. He had retired by 1994.
