Bio Notes: George Cowie studied at the School of Architecture in Aberdeen and was elected ARIBA in 1959 and ARIAS in 1960. He then seems to have moved to Edinburgh to take a further degree, though this is as yet unconfirmed (?). By 1965 he was living and presumably working in East Kilbride. By 1970 he moved to Lincolnshire and by 1979 was working in the County Architects Department in Middlesborough and was Deputy County Architect if Teesside by 1984. He seems to have retired by 1994.
