Bio Notes: Andrew Swanson Inglis was born on 13 July 1941, the son of Andrew Weddell Inglis, a Baptist minister, and his wife, Catherine Swanson who lived in Kelso. In about 1965 he was living in Glenrothes and it is possible that he worked for a period of time before qualification with Glenrothes New Town Development Corporation. He studied at Dundee College of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1970. He seems to have practised on his own account initially but later formed a partnership with A Stuart Carr who was sole partner in the practice by 2012.
